| Humans Intro A race of aristocrats and politicians. The humans are a level-headed and political race, preferring to solve things democratically than by fighting. However they are far from shy about using force when it is needed. Humans are easily the most versatile race, morally neutral and without any hindrance towards any particular skill. They however, do not excel in any particular skill, than the arts of speech and mercantile. Features Human’s bear the most varied features out of all the races, their eyes ranging from brown to bright blue, and their hair anywhere from blonde to red.
Patron Their Patron god is Jonathan, the god of mercantile and politics.
Elves Intro The elves are a secluded race, generally preferring to stick to themselves and to stay out of the quarrels of the other Races. They are a morally positive race, and they excel at archery, and are the most lithe of all the races, usually much more flexible and acrobatic than any other, they however, are often physically weaker than other races, because of their lithe, thin build and preference for light armor.
Features Elves tend towards darker hair colors, dirty blonde, brown, or black. Their skin is usually tan, and their features tend to be quite angular. The easiest way to recognize an Elf is by their long, pointed ears.
Patron The Elven Patron is Laviath, the god of nature and knowledge.
Dwarves Intro The Dwarves are an inventive race, having the most advanced technology of any other race. They are, however, a greedy race, and generally refuse to share their knowledge with the other inhabitants of the land. They are, like the humans, morally neutral, but tend to be very strong willed and stubborn in their beliefs. They excel at most mining, and are the best jewel crafters in the land. They are skilled with waraxes or even picks when in combat, but are slow due to their short stature and preference for heavy armors.
Features Dwarves are easily recognized, their short, wide build and often firey red to soot black hair making them easy to spot. Their skin has become very pale over the many years they have spend underground, and many male dwarves prefer to let their beards grow, a longer, well groomed beard often shown as a sign of high standing in their culture.
Patron The Dwarven patron god is Ovrid, the god of labour and riches.
Orcs Intro The Orcs, unlike the other races are very tribal, their King often consults a Shamman before making any big decisions to make sure that Patron, Dah’gruh, agrees with his decision. The Orcs are the most violent of the races, easily angered and always looking for a fight. They are Chaotic Neutral in alignment, having no inclination towards good or bad, but wanting nothing more than to enjoy themselves and please their god. Orcs are the fiercest warriors in the land due to their large size and strength, they prefer light armor- perhaps fur- in battle, often wielding great war hammers or just their fists. Orcs are somewhat lacking in intellect when compared to the other races, and aren’t particularly good at anything other than fighting.
Features Orcs are the most easily recognizable race in Aandrum, their dark green skin, huge size, and tusks making them very distinguished.
Patron The Orcish Patron god is Dah’gruh, the god of war and strength.
Halfelves Intro Ah, the accursed Halfelves... The bastard children of Humans and Elves. Cursed by the Gods for their very existence. Halfelves are of all the races, perhaps the most dangerous, not because of their physical strength or mental power, but because of the shear strength of their hatred for all other races and for the gods that cursed them. They are an evil race, but I’m afraid that I don’t know much about their culture, children. Not many do.
Features Halfelves rarely show their faces, preferring to conceal themselves under hooded robes, but there are many stories told of their appearance. Many say that the gods had cursed them for their mixed blood, turning their skin the color of soot and stealing the color from their hair. Cursing them with fangs and red eyes so that none may look upon them without fear. Beware children, Halfelves are vile creatures.
Patron The Halfelves have no Patron, left to their own devices to do as they please without any divine intervention. | |
